App overview
VerseTurtle is our own app — a gentle way to receive one Bible verse each day. We didn’t make it for a client; we built it to put our name on a finished, published product, and to prove the studio can carry an idea the whole way, from first sketch to a live listing on the App Store and Google Play.
Why we built our own app Saying you can make apps is easy; having shipped one isn’t. VerseTurtle is the proof — designed, built, and submitted to both stores in-house, every decision made by the same team. It also handed us a real, unglamorous education in the parts nobody advertises: developer accounts, store listings, and app review.
Our Approach
Designing a daily ritual, not just a screen The whole idea is restraint. A verse-a-day app falls apart the moment it feels needy or cluttered, so VerseTurtle is built around one small moment: open it, read a verse, put it down. The interface stays quiet, the pace stays unhurried — the turtle is the point — and the day’s verse is there with or without a signal.
The Work
From build to both app stores VerseTurtle runs on iPhone and Android, built to feel at home on each. We handled the full path to publishing — preparing the builds, writing the store listings, sorting the privacy and data-safety requirements, and getting through Apple’s and Google’s review. It’s the same end-to-end process we now bring to client app projects.
We also designed and built the VerseTurtle website — take a look at the website we made for it.
